  • Price: $1,795.00
  • Maker: British
  • Model: Lee-Enfield
  • Caliber: .22

  • Description: Serial #7603, .22 LR, 30” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few hints of freckling within the grooves. This is an LSA marked, 1896 dated, Long Lee rifle conversion that has retained about 80-85% of an armory reapplied blue finish with some plum-brown freckling and pinprick pitting on the receiver. The BSA .22 barrel retains about 95-97% of the original rust blue finish. The matching numbered bolt is in fine shape, and still has the integrated dust cover and volley sights. The standard rifle sight has been replaced by a Canadian Sutherland vernier rear sight, and the magazine cut-off has been removed. The stock and handguards have numerous light-moderate handling marks under the added oil finish, with some with-the-grain cracks on the handguard. Some further stable cracks are present on the wrist where it meets the receiver. A standard .303 magazine is present, as is a khaki canvas sling, and no cleaning rod is fitted. This is a very nice .22 conversion of a first year of production Long Lee rifle, and is in very good plus condition overall. Antique
