Colt Officers Model Target Revolver (Third Issue)

  • Maker: Colt
  • Model: Officers Model
  • Caliber: .22

  • Description: Serial #8247, .22 LR, 6” barrel with a very good bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This 1933-made revolver retains about 70-75% of a re-applied blue finish that has thinned to gray along most of the barrel, as well as on the high edges, projections, and cylinder. The polished hammer and trigger show some light freckling, and toning to gray as well. The black checkered hard rubber grips have a large chip at the toe on the left panel, repaired chips at the heels of both panels, and general flattening of the points. The white bead is no longer present in the front sight, as is the rear sight set screw. Additionally, there is surface damage around the breech of some of the chambers. Despite rather heavy use, the timing and lock-up remain excellent, and the revolver rates about good overall. FFL or C&R
