Connecticut Arms Bulldog Hammond Deringer

  • Price: $2,295.00
  • Maker: Hammond
  • Model: Bulldog
  • Caliber: .44 Henry

  • Description: Serial #1015, .44 Henry Flat, 4" part octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome pistol that retains 95% plus of the bright original blue on the barrel which has a few minor surface scratches and some silvering along the sharp edges. The frame and rotating breech have retained most of their original vivid color case-hardening with the balance having faded to a mottled gray patina. The hammer likewise retains a large amount of the original color case-hardening. The checkered gutta-percha grip panels are in excellent shape with only a few negligible spots of wear and very little flattening of the points. The mechanism is tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is an excellent example of a Hammond "Bulldog" with an unusually high degree of original finish remaining and would enhance any collection of pocket pistols or gambling paraphernalia. Antique
