- Description: Serial #235359, 16 Ga. (2 5/8”), 29” barrels with excellent, bright bores. This is a handsome, field grade, ejector-equipped gun that features a crossbolt-fastener and eagle trademark on either side of the frame. The barrels are equipped with a sling swivel, and retain 95-97% of the original blue with some mild silvering at the muzzles. The frame is predominantly bright gray with some mild freckling on the sides and within the large “SAUER / EJECTOR” markings on the underside. The walnut forend, and pistol-grip buttstock are in very good-fine shape with scattered handling marks and minor blemishes. The length of pull measures 14” with drops of 1 1/2” and 2 5/8” respectively. A period leather sling is also fitted. This is an attractive and well made German double gun, in excellent mechanical shape, with lots of condition. It would make a very nice gun for upland hunting. FFL or C&R
