A scarce and excellent example of an English Fowler. Overall 62" with a 46" barrel. This piece was built on a flint lock plate but not converted, the plate was never drilled for a frizzen or spring. This piece has a very good bore of approximately 8 ga. All original excellent condition piece, unpolished metal probably built in the 1840's, super wood with only a slight age crack in the area of the trigger guard.
