A scarce single shot cadet rifle with 23.3" barrel. The rear sight is graduated from 200/1200 metres. About 7900 pieces were manufactured between 1898 and 1927. These rifles were sighted for target use and to reduce recoil. With the leather sling the weight is 8 pounds. This serial No. is the first rifle built in 1902. Included is a brass and spring steel muzzle cover. A scarce Swiss single shot military rifle. For the Swiss or military rifle collector. FFL or C&R
