This is one of 19,500 revolvers made from 1931-1940 SN 676451. A 6 shot .22 long rifle caliber revolver with a pinned barrel, recessed chambers and slightly rounded frame top. All numbers match on the cylinder, under barrel and right grip panel. The ejector rod is unshrouded. This variation is known as the early type long action with the early type adjustable rear sight. The first example was reportedly presented to Douglas Wesson on January 3, 1931 with the serial No. 632132. The bore shows a "dimple" forward of the forcing cone but no swelling shows on the outside. We feel that this imperfection is a factory defect as our gunsmith has test fired it and finds the accuracy excellent. Over 90% blue remains with some dings at the left muzzle. The diamond center grips grade very good with some chips on the left panel bottom. Import marked, with its problems notwithstanding, a nice pre war II K-22, 5 screw revolver. FFL or C&R
