This rifle was built in series 20 at the Kikura arsenal. Features are a 25 1/2" barrel, inverted "V" front sight with guards, a 3 screw front band, 23 7/8" cleaning rod, rear barrel band with provision for a monopod, now missing, rear adjustable peep sight with folding leaf graduated from 300 to 1500 meter increments with anti-aircraft wings attached. The royal mum has been ground off but the "Type" markings remain. The 2 piece stock has two drain holes at bottom and right side, no dustcover, plum shaped bolt handle, the bolt number is mismatched , 2 screw rear sling swivel, and a cupped steel butt plate.
