This rifle was made at Tokyo Juki Kogyo, Tokyo in 7.7 mm caliber with a 25 1/2" barrel. The bore is bright, excellent condition. Features are: an inverted "V" front sight with no side guards; a riveted front nose cap with no provision for a cleaning rod; a plain solid lower band with sling swivel; a simple fixed peep sight; a mum only on the receiver with no Type 99 markings; a 2 piece stock with short handguard and no drain holes; a straight handled bolt with mismatched number on the handle and extractor; a lower sling swivel with a single screw. The wood buttplate is fastened with 3 nails. The safety knob has a welded blob with notch indicator. FFL or C&R
