SN 806843, 38 S&W with bright, excellent bore. This revolver is one of the early Canadian contract revolvers. This piece retains most of its original blue with approximately 90% showing normal service wear and some spatter stains on the left side of the barrel. The frame is marked with the Canadian C broad arrow marking. The barrel is arsenal stamped 38/380 to avoid ammunition confusion. This revolver is typical of the Smith & Wesson revolvers as issued to the Canadian army during WWII with original dull blue finish and walnut grips. Import stamped on the underside of the barrel with our import marking. FFL or C&R
