This late production Type 99 rifle shows the following features, no cleaning rod, no guards on the front sight, a riveted front band, a plain solid lower band, rear sight is a fixed peep, No mum on the receiver and no Type 99 marking, serial No 27282 from series 35 at Toyo Kogyo, Hiroshima prefecture, a plum shipped bolt knob with rough welded notched safety, rear sling swivel has/screw, wood buttplate* with 3 nails. All blued metal parts, bright bore with some frosting . The metal shows some surface corrosion. A very late war Type 99 that needs a good cleaning.- 2 piece wood butt and 2 piece forewood. FFL or C&R
