Trench art lighter built from a No 36 M MKI grenade. This grenade was in British service from WWI and II up to 1972. This piece is WWII era and probably was built in 1941. This lighter was built by a very talented person or organization. The spoon and mechanism is all brass as is the wick holder. It functions but does not work at the present time. A very neat trench art or theater made piece.
