Maker: Case Model: Medic

This is a very unique item. Basically it is a first aid kit built into a pattern 1937 binocular case. After 1941, these cases had the 1" buckles attached for a carrying strap. This piece is very neatly stenciled with the red cross and the stamping kit, First Aid in red paint or ink. The same red ink as the back stamp "made in Canada" . This was obviously factory marked and part of a very small Canadian procurement. The case contains the following gauze bandage, 2" bandage, U.S. Army First Aid dressing, inhalant, water purification tablets, sting stopper. Tincture merthiolate, mercurochrome, petrolatum, plus smaller bandages, all of the above in their original packages or bottles. As previously stated, a very scarce and uncommon kit which is C broad arrow marked and maker marked and dated 1941. We do not recall ever seeing a kit of this nature. A great WWII piece complete with all of the original contents.
