Serial # 146 is stamped on this rare Savage 45 cal. magazine. There were a total of 288 of the 1907, 10 & 11 pistols built. The mag takes 8 rounds and is of the double stack design. This rare mag is in excellent condition. We have never had one for sale in our years of business. An original magazine is probably harder to find then the pistols which occasionally come for sale in the various auctions. See 11 to 29 in "Savage Pistols" by Bailey Brower Jr. A very scarce item especially if you have a pistol without the magazine.
