Built by the German watch Company Junghan. This scarce Kreigsmarine piece is built with a steel case. The case back is stamped with the navy eagle M marking and the number 2546 . The case shows the obvious usage and pitting related to salt air and water contact. the crystal was replaced and is very clear. the face is very clean with the original blued hands. The movement appears to be in excellent condition. The pitting on the body is uniform and extends into the stampings. There is no question as to the correctness of this scarce WWII item. These stop watches were used to time Torpedo runs in both submarines and E boats. A piece that may be worth further research.
