This fowler shows no maker's name on the 20 GA. muzzle loading barrel. The 42 1/2" barrel is octagonal for 12" and 30 1/4" for the balance of the round area. No bands as the barrel is single wedge fastened. 2 iron hoops (trigger guards), one for the hammer and one for the actual trigger. Brass furniture with a long ramrod tube. No ramrod. Walnut 1/2 stocked with a brass forend cap. Poor condition but worth restoration. This piece is a possible New England built piece, hammer holds cock but the trigger needs help to release the same. A great wall hanger or project piece. Antique
