This Colt 3rd generation percussion revolver has serial number 215878 and is in .44 Army caliber. The steel backstrap is engraved and gold filled "Sam Colt". Case color steel rammer, frame and hammer. Blued barrel and cylinder. One piece walnut grips and brass triggrguard fitted for a shoulder stock. Unfired condition with a bit of light corrosion along the loading edge of the top of the barrel. Were produced from 1978-1982. In the Colt gray cardboard box marked under the lid "The Authentic Colt/ Black Powder/Signature Series". Antique
