SN 44260. Bright, excellent bore, possibly unfired or test fired only. This piece retains 97% bright original nickel with only minor scattered spots of staining from storage. Hammer & trigger retain most of the original case color. Tight crisp action and a very tight latch. Grips grade excellent. The barrel has the full address patent dates and the 1871 reissue date. This piece comes with its original brown box which is sound and the box shows the remnants of the pencil serial # of the revolver. In addition there is a 1979 factory letter indicating shipment to a J.P.L. Sims. A collector grade example. Antique
