British Type D Survival Knife

This heavy knife is the Type D introduced into the British Service Circa 1960. This piece was built by Joseph Rogers. Heavy 7" blade, wood grips and steel crossguard. This example has an excellent bright blade with R.A.F. stores code 27C/2360 . This was a piece issued to the RAF see items 233 and 234 in British and Commonwealth military knives by Ron Flook . The knife comes with its' original and correct scabbard . A scarce military knife in the U.S.A.
