Orignal scabbard marked U.S. over S. Forelich Co 1943 on the top reverse side. Designed to protect to US carbine in vehicles, jeeps, motorcycles etc. 24" long. These units are shown and described on pages 652 to 654 of "War Baby The US Carbine Vol 11" by Larry Ruth. A sound scabbard with straps in as found, uncleaned but sound condition.
