SN 29004, not a dewat but a dummy. All original parts except for the solid cast receiver, therefore, this can be sold without permit. Built in 1943 and so marked. This piece comes with an original 1943 dated sling and an original bayonet built by Wilkinson and dated 1903. The Lanchester is one of the scarce submachine guns, they were issued to the Royal Marines and the Royal Navy with a smaller issue to the army. A unique decorator or re-enactors piece.
