Serial #BK4325, .303 British, 20" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1947 dated, "ENGLAND" marked rifle with M/47C manufacturer's code and Birmingham proofs that retains 97-98% of the original black Suncorite finish with some minor surface scratches on the matching bolt handle and traces of gray at the muzzle as well as on some of the high edges and projections. The matching numbered stock with handguard are likewise in great shape and have just a few very minor handling marks marring the otherwise excellent original military finish. The magazine matches the condition of the rest of the rifle and is matching numbered. This is a simply super example of a No. 5 Jungle Carbine in excellent original condition and would make a fabulous addition to a collection. FFl or C&R
