Description: Serial #6990, .22 Short (Black Powder), 2 3/8 inch barrel with a near excellent bore with some roughness near the breech. This is standard model Colt Open Top Pocket Model revolver manufactured from 1871-1877. The matching number spur trigger, 7 shot revolver is in fine to near excellent condition retaining about 55-60% overall finish with the frame retaining virtually all of the original nickel finish and the cylinder and barrel showing a mixture of plum brown with a smaller percentage of the original nickel. The grips are solid and retain about half of the original varnish. The action functions properly with a crisp trigger pull. Antique
