British No. 4 Mk. 2 Rifle

  • Price: $695.00
  • Maker: Enfield
  • Model: No.4
  • Caliber: .303

  • Description: Serial #PF216003, .303 British, 25” barrel with a very good bore that has light freckling within the grooves. This Fazakerly-made, 1950 dated rifle has retained 80-85% of the original black Suncorite finish with some thinning along the high edges and projections, as well as flaking and fading around the small import stamp at the muzzle. The nosecap and bands have also faded to dark, pewter gray. The matching numbered bolt has about 70-75% of the Suncorite remaining, and bright gray on the balance. The buttstock, matching numbered forend, and handguards are in very good condition with almost numerous handling marks and small blemishes under a fairly thick varnish finish. There is also a small armory repair at the toe of the butt. The rifle is accompanied by a non-matching numbered magazine, is fitted with a milled micrometer rear sight, and fitted with a dull gray canvas web sling. This is a nice Korean War dated No. 4, and rates very good plus overall. FFL or C&R
