• Description: Serial #76976, .22 LR, 6 5/8" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This pistol was manufactured in 1930 and retains 92-95% of the original blue finish with some silvering at the muzzle, along the edges of the top radius of the slide, as well as along the high points and projections. The checkered walnut grips are in very good shape, with some handling marks and flattening of the points, especially on the right panel. The pistol comes with a single original two-tone magazine and is housed in the original numbered Colt box. The box itself is in good shape but does have tape repairs to three of the lid corners. Also included are: the original operating directions booklet; numbered test target; bore brush; brass-handled cleaning rod; oil bottle; and the original hexagonal sight adjustment tool. Also included is the high-speed mainspring housing kit provided by Colt after 1931. The envelope contains the pistols original numbered "thumbprint" mainspring housing and direction sheet (the pistol has the high-speed housing installed in its place). This is a fine 1st Series Woodsman Target, with lots of original extras, and would make a fine addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
