  • Description: Serial #33329, 20 Ga. (2 1/2”), 28” barrels modified and improved modified choked barrels with bright fine bores. The length of pull is 14” with drop at the heel of 2 1/2” and 1 3/8” at the comb. This very high quality E. Schmidt & Habermann shotgun was made in Suhl, Germany between 1920 and 1940 from one of Germany's top quality gun makers. The Nirto proofed barrels are stamped “Flusstahl Krupp Essen” and are in excellent condition with light handling marks, thinning of the blue on the left side of the rib and both sides of the barrels near the breach and scattered areas of what appears to be dried linseed oil along the edge of the fore arm and near the muzzle. The brightly case colored frame is also in very good to excellent condition with some fading on the trigger guard with scattered areas of what appears to be dried linseed oil or other coating. The walnut pistol grip stock and forend have some minor bruises that have darkened with age under a rubbed linseed oil coating with tiny nicks along either side of forend tip. This is a beautiful little twenty. FFL or C&R
