Excellent Remington Model 24 T/D Rifle w/ Scarce Shell Deflector

  • Maker: Remington
  • Model: 24
  • Caliber: .22

  • Description: Serial #31254, .22 LR, 19 1/2" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This is a 1923-made rifle that has matching numbers, and retains 85-90% of the original blue, that has silvering along the high and exposed edges. There is some very mild surface freckling as well, and a small amount of play in the barrel when assembled. This particular rifle is also equipped with the sheet metal shell deflector on the bottom of the frame. The smooth walnut buttstock and forend are in about very good-near fine shape, with scattered handling marks in the slightly glossy varnish, as well as some hairline, with-the-grain cracks at the underside of the wrist where the wood meets the trigger guard. This is a very good plus example of a neat little rimfire Remington, with a scarce accessory. FFL or C&R
