Excellent Swiss M1851 Federal Rifle Feldstutzer Bayonet

Description: This is an excellent Swiss M1851 Federal Rifle Feldstutzer Bayonet. The 20.5 fullered blade is in excellent condition with 50%+ of the original fire bluing still intact with only light use marks and an unaltered tip. The ricasso is stamped with what appears to be a BW over S with just a hint of age soiling. The elbow is strongly marked 985 and has a very light scattering of oxidation. The shaft and spring are in excellent condition with the spring working as intended with the stamp of O on the end. Amazing condition for a bayonet nearly 175 years old.
