- Description: This is a Swiss Model 1878 Pioneer Style Sawtooth short sword with leather scabbard marked GEBR. WEYERSBERG SOLINGEN on the Ricasso above a Swiss Cross with 1 over 78 on the reverse. It measures 25 overall with a 19 blade with a sharp sawtooth edge that is in near excellent condition with only very mild carbon staining spots. The leather washer is intact with a brass handle and pommel having a 4 guard marked S and the grip scales are held with 5 rivets showing some flattening of the points. It comes in a brass throated and tipped leather scabbard in near excellent condition. A scarce Swiss sword in Excellent condition.
