Item #41005

Korean War Era Canadian No. 4 Mk. I* Rifle

  • Maker: Canadian
  • Model: No. 4
  • Caliber: .303

  • Description: Serial #93L9641, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This Long Branch-made, 1950 dated rifle has retained about 95-97% of the original phosphate finish with only some mild silvering and fading at the muzzle, as well as along the bearing surfaces of the matching bolt. A sheet metal CMk. 3 adjustable rear sight is fitted, and there is no import marking. The walnut stock and furniture are in fine condition with a few minor handling marks and small surface blemishes marring the otherwise fine original military oil finish. A single non-matching numbered magazine is included which is in identical condition, and a correct khaki canvas sling is installed. This is a splendid example of a Canadian No. 4 rifle, made at the onset of the Korean War. FFL or C&R
