Item #37131

Pre-WW2 British No. 2 Mk. I Enfield Revolver (Norfolk Depot Marked)

  • Maker: Enfield
  • Model: No. 2
  • Caliber: .38 S&W

  • Description: Serial #A8573, .38/200 British (.38 S&W), 5 barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1932 dated, Enfield marked revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, and cylinder. The metal retains 95-97% of the original matte blue finish with mild silvering along the high and exposed edges, as well as on the bearing surfaces of the top latch. The butt has a NORF / DEP Norfolk Depot stamp (struck out), while postwar Birmingham commercial proofs are also present. The grooved walnut grips are in good-very good shape with numerous minor handling marks and blemishes throughout. The action is fully functional, but the extractor sometimes hangs up. This is a fine example of a prewar No. 2 Enfield, and would make a splendid addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
