Pre-War British Enfield No. 2 Mk. I Revolver With Unit Markings

  • Price: $1,495.00
  • Maker: Enfield
  • Model: No. 2
  • Caliber: .38 S&W

  • Description: Serial #B1472, .38/200 British, 5" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This 1932-dated revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel with the metal retaining about 90-92% of the original blue finish that has mild silvering along the high edges, projections, and bearing surfaces. The markings are crisp and clear, including the post-war London commercial proofs, and the rear of the frame knuckle is unit marked: "RASC / G CO / 15" (Royal Army Service Corps / G Company / Gun #15). The grooved, Broad Arrow-marked walnut grips are in very good shape with minor handling marks and surface wear on both sides. The action lock-up is tight and fully functional, and this is an excellent example of a pre-war No. 2 revolver. FFL or C&R
