- Description: This is a Swiss model 1914 Pioneer sawtooth bayonet for the Schmidt Ruben rifle. The World War I era bayonet measures 24 overall with an 18 single fuller armory bright blade with a sawtooth edge marked WAFFENFABRIK NEUHAUSEN on the ricasso with 208455 on the steel cross guard along with the Swiss Cross which measures 4 across. The wood grip scales are in very good plus condition with light use marks. It comes in a black painted steel scabbard with Swiss Cross on the tip. An excellent example of a rare bayonet.
