Sam McDowell Collectors Knife Handmade Scrimshaw

Description: This is a Sam McDowell Collectors Knives with his legendary Handmade Scrimshaw scene of a fallen rider. The knife is in excellent condition with near mirror bright, unsharpened 1 3/4" blade made exclusively for him in Seki City Japan by Kai Cutlery Company. The nickle-silver is deeply engraved with beautiful file work. The bone scales are finely scrimshawed with great detail of a rearing hourse and cowboy. This knife is used and shows some age soiling. He is a nautical specialist but did a few works with horse themes, this is one of them.
