Scarce WW2 Remington Browning Auto-5 20 Ga Excellent Condition
- Maker: Browning
- Model: Auto-5
- Caliber: 20 ga.
- Description: Serial #C15807, 20 Ga. (2 3/4), 27 barrel (including Cutts choke / compensator) with an excellent, bright bore. This is a wartime A-5, made by Remington in the United States after the capture of FN by the Germans. The gun has the distinct stipple-finished receiver and tang of the Remington-produced guns, and retains 97-98% of the original blue finish with some barely noticeable freckling, and some mild silvering along some of the high edges and projections. The gun is equipped with a Cutts choke / compensator by Lyman, and comes with a Full choke (currently installed), a Spreader tube, and choke wrench. The walnut forend has a few scattered handling marks, but is otherwise in excellent shape with still sharp checkering, and no cracks along the underside. The buttstock has scattered minor handling marks and blemishes with an intact, white line-bordered Browning buttpad. This is a great, little-used example of a wartime, Remington-made Browning, and rates excellent overall. FFL or C&R
