• Description: This is a US Model 1892 Krag-Jorgenson Bayonet in excellent condition with a unsharpened, uncleaned 11 5/8 blade having light age soiling with very little oxidation and no chips on edge with the spine and false edge having a few small dings. The ricasso is stamped US and 1900 for year of manufacture. The guard is bright with small use scares and scrapes. The handle is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the correct original rivets and unsanded scales. The pommel has almost no oxidation showing the same level of use as the rest of the bayonet. The excellent type No. I scabbard body retains almost all of the original finish as dose the hanger. Over-all this is a very nice example of the Model 1892.
