US Springfield M1 Garand Rifle With CMP Certificate

  • Maker: Spfld
  • Model: Garand
  • Caliber: .30-06

  • Description: Serial #839983, .30-06, 24” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This WW2 rifle was built in September of 1942, and has mixed era Springfield Armory parts. The metal itself retains 90-92% of a general armory re-applied parkerized finish with some silvering at the muzzle, gray fading on the gas tube, as well as further silvering on the projections, on the bearing surfaces of the bolt, and inside the op-rod raceway. The walnut stock and handguards have numerous handling marks and blemishes scattered about, as well as an “RRA” Raritan Arsenal rebuild stamp on the left side of the buttstock, and a “P (in square)” rebuild proof on the pistol-grip. An OD canvas M1 sling is fitted, and a 2005 dated, CMP Certificate of Authenticity is included. This is a very nice, CMP-purchased Garand, and is in near excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
