- Description: This is a very good condition Wade & Butcher with a saber-ground clip blade, approximately 7 inches long; 12 inches long overall. Ricasso stamped WADE & BUTCHER / SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND in three lines. Made after 1890. Blade flat stamped with fancy logo: X C D / EXCEED. Handles of jigged cut stag, or possibly bone one small chip left scale back. Flat oval nickel silver guard. Comes with a very good condition original leather sheath.
