Item #39825

WW2 British No. 2 Mk. I* Enfield Revolver

  • Maker: Enfield
  • Model: Mk. I*
  • Caliber: .38 S&W

  • Description: Serial #0470, .38-200 (.38 S&W), 5" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some traces of faint freckling within the grooves. This is a 1941 dated revolver that retains about 85-90% of the armory-added black Suncorite finish that has flaked extensively to the underlying phosphate finish on the barrel and cylinder. The numbers are matching, and both military and post-war commercial proofs are present, as well as a "SOU 2 / 3108" inventory mark on the toe of the butt. The grooved black Vulcanite grips are in very good plus condition, with a few small chips along the grooves, and scattered handling marks. The lock-up is tight and the action is fully functional. This is a very good-fine war-dated Enfield revolver overall. FFL or C&R
